We offer yoga for all ages. Below is a listing of all of our classes, dates and times that they are given. Click on the descriptions tab for an overview of what each class has to offer.
This class is recommended after your 12th week of pregnancy and it will help you improve your overall strength, flexibility, and emotional well-being during this very precious time. It will physically and mentally prepare you for delivering your baby. It will help reduce lower back pain and sciatica which may increase with pregnancy. It may help reduce the aches and fatigue in the thoracic and cervical regions of the spine and may reduce the swelling and inflammation around the joints that may occur during pregnancy. You should wear comfortable clothes and do not eat a heavy meal earlier than 1 hour prior to class. Bring a pillow and blanket from home that you do not use often, and if you like the class, these items can be left in the studio for storage. Also bring a bottle of water to hydrate yourself during class.
This class will help restore balance, inner peace, through the use of breathing (pranayama) with gentle stretches and bodywork (asanas) to release tension and re-learn relaxation, thereby reducing stress and tension. Every week new poses are introduced and after several weeks the poses are done in a series of fluid movements. You will improve your overall physical and emotional well-being as well as your overall strength, balance, flexibility, and concentration.
You would be ready for this class after 6 weeks of taking the beginner classes. This class offers a great workout that combines the best elements of many yoga styles that will refresh your body, mind, and spirit through pranayama and a series of yoga postures.
Learn to connect the mind, body, and spirit through awareness in the postures, breathwork, and meditation. This practice is done slowly and consciously, occasionally holding postures for a length of time to build strength and balance and fluidly moving through their release.
This class is playful and encourages self-expression and helps build social skills. Through various poses the children will strengthen their bodies and learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation exercises. Kids sing, play, and practice yoga in this class that helps release their overabundance of energy and helps them destress. It helps develop strong, limber, and healthy bodies and sets a lifelong foundation for well-being.
